Our 2024 Entry Lists for the Energy Breakthrough are now live on our website here >

These schools and their communities are taking on the challenge of designing, constructing a machine that represents an ‘Energy Breakthrough’. Woo-hoo, welcome aboard: this is going to be a great ride!

Awesome to see some new schools joining us, some schools progressing into Electric Vehicles and growth across all categories as we continue to gain momentum out of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Please note we are soon to announce our new TRYathlon program, and the exciting new program for TRY Secondary teams promises more cohesion and better celebration opportunites.

Team Managers Hub

A reminder that our Team Manager Hub is available to support schools throughout the year.

The Team Manager Hub has been developed to assist new and existing schools from the beginning to the end their Energy Breakthrough journey. The Energy Breakthrough team – which combines personnel from Central Goldfields Shire Council (CGSC) and the Country Education Partnership (CEP) and host of volunteers – are on hand to help you approach this challenge with confidence.

We refer to the key teacher or contact person in charge of each team’s Energy Breakthrough entry as a ‘Team Manager’. This Team Manager is responsible for ensuring their entry complies with all of the rules and specifications and will be the main point of contact between the organising team and the school team.

Find everything you might want, or need to know, within the Team Managers’ page >
