Together, we can drive innovation, education, and sustainability forward.  Donations can be one-off or ongoing. When making a donation via FRRR, please enter ‘Energy Breakthrough’ in the ‘Additional Comments’ field on the form.

What is the Energy Breakthrough?

Since 1991, the Energy Breakthrough has provided opportunities for students, teachers, parents and local industry to work together to design and construct a vehicle, a machine or innovation in technology that will represent an ‘energy breakthrough’.

Throughout the year, over 3,500 students from over 100 rural, regional, and metropolitan Melbourne schools —spanning the public, Catholic, and independent sectors— participate in preparing their entry. The teams then bring their creations to Maryborough in central Victoria each November to trial them in action.

How does Tax Deductibility work with the Energy Breakthrough?
