How do we recruit (and retain!) quality educators and education leaders in rural and remote communities?

This is the key question posed and the challenge set at Country Education Partnership’s upcoming Rural Learning Summit in Creswick on August 30. If you have an interest in this area, we encourage you to apply to attend this FREE event.

The Country Education Partnership is a not for profit organisation that supports the provision of education within rural and remote communities and is a joint partner in the delivery of the Energy Breakthrough.

The Summit will bring together a range of people from:

  • country communities,
  • universities,
  • local government,
  • education sectors, and
  • the state government.

The day will explore the many difficulties associated with recruiting and retaining quality staff in country schools, as well canvasing solutions that could support these communities into the future.
