The Energy Expo is an interactive, educational and active exhibition space. It’s fun for friends and entire family, and is open all day Friday and Saturday during the event.

Come visit the Energy Expo and The La Trobe University’s “All kinds of Clever” Marquee.

Explore some of the latest research activities from the Technology Innovation Lab @ La Trobe University.  Including an interactive demo of some pint-sized robots and the latest in “Internet of Things Technology”.

These robots can be programmed to be social, play games with you, or you can program it — with some imagination to be your buddy.

So, come say ‘hi’ to La Trobe University’s Dr Simon Egerton with his open-source robot creations and meet some of our other team members and talk all things La Trobe University and discover clever ways to feed your curiosity and challenge your thinking.

The Energy Expo explores the latest trends in green energy, sustainable transport and physical activity. It’s a great way to getaway from all the action, discover alternative energy and have heaps of fun.

Also featured in the Energy Expo will be Trisled, RodeRAGE, Grampians Central West Waste & Resource Recovery Group, Goldfields Sustainability, Monash Human Power, Pirez Electric Bikes, Central Highlands Water, VicRoads, Regional Roads Victoria, Central Goldfields Information Centre and the Regional Centre for Culture.
