You’re invited to join the RACV Energy Breakthrough STRAVA club!
Created to connect students from schools across Victoria and beyond as they physically prepare for the event in Maryborough this November. We know that young people across the country are preparing, but they are mostly doing it in isolation. We hope through this Strava club that we’ll breakdown some barriers between schools and build some new connections!

Students young and old are put to the test over a variety of challenges through the RACV Energy Breakthrough challenge: the shortest tests are just a few seconds long and the longest is a 24-hour endurance trial. These tests need to be prepared for physically and training through running, riding and swimming are some of the ways our students are preparing.

It’s simple and free to join STRAVA.

What is STRAVA?

Strava is the Swedish word for “strive,” which epitomizes who we are and what we do: If you’re striving to improve, no matter your goals or ability, you’re one of us. Strava is the social network for athletes. ~ https://www.strava.com/about

Anyone can upload their physical activities (runs, rides, swims, anything!) to Strava. They can then give and receive ‘kudos’ and comments on other friend’s activities, too.

How do I upload an activity?

Simply go for a ride, track it using your favourite GPS device (ie/ Garmin, FitBit, Suunto, TomTom) or the Strava app and upload it to STRAVA.
Once you’re a member of the RACV EB Strava Club (https://www.strava.com/clubs/racveb), your activities will automatically be added to the club’s totals.

Stay safe out there, have fun.
