Kisschasy and After the Fall have been announced as headline acts for the 2005 Freeza-Push Start Regional Final (Battle of the Bands) to be held at the Maryborough Outdoor Pool from 6pm – 10:30 pm on Friday, November 25.

With the traditional Mardi Gras no longer held in the centre of Maryborough, the RACV Energy Breakthrough site will be the sole focus of action and excitement on the Friday night. The pool is situated right next to the RACV Track and the Final will take place during the Secondary HPV’s Friday night Practice session. As a result, On-Track Announcing will be kept to a miniumum during this practice session.

The FreeZa event is a major boost for the town and the five finalists, who get to share the stage with some of Australia’s great acts in Kisschasy and After the Fall.

Kisschasy’s “Do-Do and Whoas” has been a massive breakthrough success for the band, whilst After the Fall’s “The Fighter” has been getting good exposure on radio stations around Australia.

Check out their websites for more information: http://www.kisschasy.com or http://www.afterthefall.com.au

Entry to this All-Ages event is just $8 Pre-Sale or $10 at the Gate.

Get along, support the finalists and enjoy some great tunes on what could be a balmy November evening.
