This year, we are seeking out four or more schools to share their Energy Breakthrough journey with us and the broader EB community. Through a series of progress reports published at the end of each term, we’ll be able to find out what the students and teachers have been up to, what’s gone well, what’s not gone so well and what they’re looking forward to in the term ahead.

As part of our post-event evaluation process, we the Energy Breakthrough has not ONE but TWO surveys open right now to capture people's feedback, assess how the year went and help plan for the future. One survey is designed to capture general event and program feedback, whilst the second survey is designed for our volunteers.
This year’s Energy Breakthrough wasn’t just a test of endurance and innovation, with the thousands of students, teachers, event organisers and volunteers being tested by the horrific weather conditions on Thursday. But from Friday we enjoyed near-perfect weather conditions and enjoyed a smooth and successful 29th edition of the Energy Breakthrough!
The 2019 Schools Information Kits are now ready for download! These act as each team's 'Event Guide': packed full of all the details you will need to know for this year’s Energy Breakthrough, including judging schedules, marshal rosters and final information.
Great news! Australian toll road company Transurban, which owns and operates CityLink in Melbourne, has joined forces with the Energy Breakthrough to help the next generation of transport innovators.
Calling all TRYathlon teams: We have a test session for you to practice the skills needed to excel in the Obstacle Rally! This practice session is FREE, but schools MUST complete an online registration form to ensure a safe day for all.
To help teams prepare for this year's Energy Breakthrough, La Trobe University will be hosting TWO free preparation sessions on Friday 1st of Nov in Bendigo and Friday 8th of Nov in Bundoora. The sessions will also live-streamed online via our website and YouTube.
Pit and Camping requests are now open for this year's Energy Breakthrough. Team Managers: please be sure to get your requests in via the Online Registration System by Midnight on October 13 to help the team complete their allocations and schedules.
