The 2007 Australian International Pedal Prix has been called off one hour short due to winds of up to 80 km/h!

“We sitting at one of the turns and a bike got blown clean over,” a trackside source said, “It was a shame, but it was the right decision.”

The 23hr race was officially finished at 11am South Australian time, on Sunday September 16.

South Australian Community team ‘TAFE SA Blue Shift’ took the overall line honours by 2 laps over perennial front runners, Ballistic. Blue Shift also won overall in 2005. Victorian teams from Flora Hill comfortably won the Junior & Senior secondary classes – sending an ominious warning through the Energy Breakthrough field. Weeroona College Bendigo’s Primary school aged entry ‘Fill’ won Category 1.
