From Trial positions 4th and 26th in 2016 to 1st and 2nd in 2017, White Hills Primary School's leap up the order has been remarkable. They are the first school to go 1-2 in a Trial since South Australian powerhouse Aberfoyle Hub PS way back in 2001. We caught up with Team Manager, Roger Byron, to hear how his students pulled it off during a highly competitive Trial and also ask him about missing out on 'Overall' Class honours.

Well, we've done it. Yep, we've just released the 2017 entry lists for your viewing pleasure - just in time for the school holidays, too!
It's time to take control of your account, with the 2017 RACV Energy Breakthrough entries (for Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) Primary) set to open at 8AM AEDT today, Wednesday 15th, March.
Since publishing the RACV Energy Breakthrough handbook which includes Vehicle Specification and Trial Regulations and Rules, a number of schools have been quick to express concerns about changes to the seat belt mounting rules and with the power restrictions placed on pedal/electrically EEVs.
Not many schools achieve back-to-back success in Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) events. So, we caught up with their Team Manager and RACV EB Alumni Jono Keane to find out more about their approach. Whilst they were pipped for line honours by Energy Efficient Vehicles on both occasions - first by Rode RAGE (2015) and then by Ormeau State High School (2016) - there was still plenty for the Woodleigh team to be proud of as we discovered...
