Are you looking for the perfect chance to squeeze in an extra race and some quality time on a track as part of your final preparations for this year RACV Energy Breakthrough?

Your last chance is on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of October at Casey Fields in Cranbourne.

The Casey Cardinia HPV and Cycling Club (CCHPVCC) will be holding a full weekend of racing and wish to invite all teams to participate in what will be the last round of the Victorian HPV Series for 2013.

The weekend will be a great chance to experience race conditions and prepare teams for this year RACV Energy Breakthrough.

The CCHPVCC are already busy and underway with preparations for the event, but are reminding teams to adhere to the closing date of entries by 5pm on the 27th September.

President John Mills is excited and interested about the opportunity that the club has to observe Casey Fields at night after incorporating an optional night practice for teams.

Over the weekend Mills and his committee are holding four separate events including a two hour timed practice session, an obstacle course and a two hour night practice session on the Saturday whilst holding the six-hour race the Sunday.

This event will give participants to familiarise themselves with the track and manoeuvres, and determine the grid for the six-hour race. The night practice session is a first time at Casey Fields, which gives teams a unique opportunity to experience the track at night.

If you think you can squeeze one more event into your HPV calendar before this years RACV Energy Breakthrough, the Casey Cardinia HPV and Cycling Committee would love to see you down at Casey Fields on Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th of October.
