Welcome to the VicRoads Energy Breakthrough rider knowledge test
Powered by VicRoads, Energy Breakthrough participants can complete an online Knowledge Test to find out how well they know the rules. It’s NOT a prerequisite for the participant license at the event, but a fun way to see how much you know about competing safely in the Trials at the Energy Breakthrough!
What are we testing?
To pass the rider knowledge test, students will need to read and understand the Energy Breakthrough HPV / EEV Trial Regulations.

The rider knowledge test comprises of:
- 20 questions taken from the Trial Regulations.
- These questions are randomly generated, which means they are different each time rider tries!
- Wrong answers will be highlighted to you, your teachers and riders to discuss the question and the right answer.
